Enjoy the deep fried taste without the oil and guilt! These cheesy jalapeño poppers are low carb, with melted creamy cheese with just a hint of spice. This is the ultimate appetizer that your guests will love!

This is an awesome appetizer over the holidays, Superbowl parties or when you want to watch the big game! You can whip them up in no time with an air fryer, with no oil. They are completely gluten free and you can omit the bacon if you want to keep vegetarian.

Cheesy gluten free jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, bacon and cheddar cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 jalapeños
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup cheese mix- Monterey Jack cheddar cheese, and mozzarella
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions
 

  • Cook bacon until crispy. Set aside.
  • Slice jalapeños in half (vertically) and discard seeds. You can save some if you prefer it to be spicer.
  • In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, cheese mix, half bacon bits, and half of the green onions.
  • Stuff your jalapeños with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Place your jalapeños in the Air Fry Toaster Oven. Set to Air Fry for 12-14 minutes.
  • Remove from Oven and garnish with the rest of the bacon bits and green onions.

Notes

This a great appetizer for holiday parties, Superbowl or just game night. They are gluten free and low carb. This recipe comes together very easily with just a handful of ingredients. They cook up =nice and crispy in the air fryer.

Pro Tip: Wear plastic gloves when cutting the jalapeno’s and removing the seeds. Make sure to avoid touching your eyes or face. If you want to keep it extra spicy, keep the seeds in tack when slicing.

    Our family loves this recipe. We have it when the hockey game is on and cant believe its gluten free. What a great combination! Will make over and over.
